How browser-stored data and third-party ads are handled
1. Client-side processing
zerotool does not send the files you add to its tools, such as images and PDFs, to its own servers or any remote database. Files are processed in the memory of your current browser, and only items that need to be kept, such as D-Days, Pomodoro records and contact drafts, are saved in your browser’s LocalStorage.
2. Google AdSense and third-party advertising cookies
This website may use advertising technology from third-party vendors, including Google LLC.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits.
- You can opt out of cookies used for personalized advertising at any time on the Google Ads Settings page (https://www.google.com/settings/ads).
3. Use of LocalStorage
This service uses your browser’s local storage to keep your D-Day list, Pomodoro records, favorites and contact drafts. This information stays in the same browser profile and cannot be viewed by the operator. On a shared device, please delete it from “My Data” after use.
4. Backing up and restoring to a location of your choice
In “My Data” you can export the data stored in your browser as a JSON backup file and keep it in a personal storage location of your choice. A backup file may contain personal information and is not encrypted, so be careful with shared storage. The admin password hash and ad settings are not included in user backups.
5. Contact
For questions about privacy or the service, contact zerotool at [email protected]. We will reply promptly.
