- Text extraction – Extract text from text-based PDFs (no OCR)
Merge, split and organize PDF pages
Combine and split PDFs, and delete, rotate and rearrange pages. Scanned PDFs work too.
Merge
Joins several PDFs in the order of the list. Move files up or down to change the order; the total page count is shown before you merge.
Page editor
Delete, rotate and reorder pages while looking at them as thumbnails. You can also mark pages for deletion all at once by typing numbers like "2,5-7", and you can undo everything before saving.
Split and extract
Pull out just the pages you choose, such as "1-3,5", into one PDF; split into one PDF per range like "1-3,4-6"; or split every page into its own PDF. When several files result, they are bundled in a ZIP.
Scans and text extraction
PDFs made of scanned images can be merged, split and edited. Text extraction only works on PDFs where the letters are real text, and text recognition (OCR) is not provided.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
- No. A password-protected PDF cannot be opened; you are told so. Please use a copy without the password.
- Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
- They may not be. The result is a new PDF, and document properties such as title and author are not copied from the original either.
- Is there a feature to black out text?
- No. Simply covering text with a black box leaves the text underneath, which can still be copied or extracted, so it would not be safe.
- Are there size limits?
- 100MB per file and 300MB in total.
