Round Corners & Circle Crop
Crop a photo into a circular avatar or round off its corners. Choose roundness and ratio; saving as PNG or WebP keeps the outside transparent. The file never leaves your browser.
Crop an image to a circle or round its corners with a transparent background
Crop a photo into a circle or round off its corners, and save it as a PNG or WebP with a transparent outside.
Circle and rounded corners
Circle locks the crop area to a 1:1 square and keeps only the circle inside it, which suits avatars. Rounded corners has a roundness from 0 to 100%; the closer to 100%, the nearer to a pill shape or circle. Choose the crop ratio from Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9.
Transparent background and size
Saving as PNG or WebP keeps the outside transparent. JPG cannot hold transparency, so it is filled with the color you pick. The output size can be the original or a long side of 1024, 512 or 256px, which makes it easy to match an app or site’s avatar size. The result is previewed on a checkerboard.
How to use it
Add a photo and choose a shape, then drag on the image to move the area or drag a corner to resize it. The saved name is the original followed by -circle or -rounded.
