Crop, rotate and flip a photo to the shape you need
Crop a photo to ratios such as 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9, rotate it in 90-degree steps and flip it horizontally or vertically.
Crop to a ratio
Choose Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9 or 9:16. Drag inside the crop area to move it, drag a corner to resize it, or drag outside it to draw a new one. You can also type pixel values into the X, Y, Width and Height boxes for a precise fit.
Rotate and flip
Rotate left or right in 90-degree steps and flip horizontally or vertically. The crop area starts as the whole image, so you can rotate without cropping at all. A phone photo that looks sideways is opened upright, because its shooting-direction information is applied when you add it.
Format and quality
Choose JPG, PNG or WebP. JPG and WebP have a quality setting, and PNG is saved without loss. When you save as JPG, transparent areas are filled with white. The saved file name is the original name followed by -edited.
