Add a Text or Logo Watermark to Many Photos at Once

How to add a text or logo watermark, the difference between a single spot and repeating, how to choose size and opacity, and why to keep your originals.
What a watermark does
A watermark helps discourage people from taking your photos without permission and tells viewers where they came from. It cannot stop copying completely, but the more visible it is and the harder it is to crop out, the better it works.
How to add one
1. Add your photos. You can add several at once, and the preview shows the first one.
2. Choose text or a logo image. For text, set the wording and color, and turn on a shadow so it stays visible on light backgrounds. For a logo, choose an image file; a PNG with a transparent background places only the logo shape.
3. Set the size and opacity. Size is a percentage of the photo width, so photos of different resolutions get a similar look.
4. Choose a position, or choose Repeat across image.
5. Press the button to add the watermark. The same settings apply to every photo.

One spot or repeated
You can place it in one of nine spots from top left to bottom right. A corner covers less of the photo, but cropping that corner removes it. Repeat across image places it diagonally across the whole photo, so it survives cropping off a corner. If your aim is to stop reuse, repeating is more effective; if you want the photo to stay pleasant to look at, use a corner.
Saving, and a warning
Choose JPG, PNG or WebP, with up to 50 photos at a time. With two or more results you can download a ZIP, and each saved name is the original followed by -watermarked.
The watermark is merged into the picture and cannot be removed later, so keep your originals. The files are not uploaded; they are processed only inside this browser.
